0146 Rotary Valve with Electromagnetic Flowmeter UFT-FluidDisc
Intended Purpose
The rotary valve UFT-FluidDisc is the centrepiece of a flow measurement and control station with a non-culverted measuring line. It uses a cost-effective, reliable and robust electromagnetic flowmeter for full pipes and achieves the required operational reliability through an innovative new item: the rotary valve. Unlike standard gate valves, the flow cross-section is not restricted by a plate lowered from above, but by rotating a disc with a specially shaped opening, which ensures progressive closure from below.
Properties of rotary valve with electromagnetic flowmeter UFT-FluidDisc
- No need to culvert the measuring line
- No risk of accumulating floating material upstream of the measuring line
- Flow measurement using a robust and reliable electromagnetic flowmeter for full pipes
- Very low dry-weather flows can be measured whilst maintaining a fully filled measuring pipe
- Minimal level drop required in the structure
